The small Southern California town of Fallbrook is a community dedicated to art. The Art Center is a unique venue unlike any other in the area. Neither a museum or private gallery, it is a self-supporting non-profit hybrid of the two. Each year it hosts the Reflections of Nature exhibit with artists invited from around the United States. It is an intimate show and Fallbrook offers a charming setting for a weekend of art.

I always enjoy the shows at this gallery, situated in an historic house in Santa Ysabel. The owner/director presents the art in classic, understated style. The receptions are intimate and friendly. Waterfowl Festival
Location: Easton, Maryland

Joe participates every year in this annual event that involves the entire town of Easton, Maryland, on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake. His original watercolors and oils may be viewed in the Elks Lodge. Joe always looks forward to chatting with the festival visitors. Each morning before the festival he and several other artists can be seen painting on the Blackwater Wildlife Refuge!
